Typing TOTS!

Brad Flickinger is doing a podcast series at the moment on Teaching Tech from Early Years to Year 6.  

One of the gems to come out of his first podcast - "Teaching   Tech to Kindergarteners" is the website - Typing TOTS.  His  rationale is simple - every child will know the computer keyboard by Year 1. It is about understanding the layout of the keyboard, where everything is, and getting proficient speed entering words.

I am also aware that some students struggle with the computer keyboard higher up the school as well.  Typing TOTS will make a huge difference!
