I make a statement like that because I know the value of TWITTER which is a primary source of great ideas and thinking in my Personal Learning Network. Some people like to TWEET all the time it seems. That's not me. In fact, I have to say I am very PASSIVE with TWITTER. I turn my TWEETdeck on and get on with other work. In the meantime all those fantastic teachers and educators I follow keep tweeting their latest greatest ideas and thinking. It's very powerful and connects you with the best thinking/ideas in the world.
However, I have to also admit to not understanding all the in's and out's of TWITTER. Probably because I am so passive in my approach. Enter Genieo - a newspaper styled homepage ... I must have been doing something with TWITTER because it came up with this tutorial video and its perfect if you want to learn about TWITTER from a Teachers perspective.
This video is by Erin Klein (the genius behind KLEINSPIRATION) who posts a very useful YouTube video that’s all about ‘Twitter For Teachers.’ In the video, Erin talks about how to get started with the basics of Twitter (how to actually tweet and respond to tweets), which hashtags you should keep an eye out for (new teacher chat!), and more. If you want to know more, check out the Erin's blog and also the EDUDEMIC BLOG where this video alert originally came from. There are many more fantastic learning curves for you to tap into. In fact sign up for the post from EDUDEMIC and get each new post in your email.
