ClassDojo was introduced to me in a coaching session by Louise Hurley, a Year 1 teacher at GEMS Royal Dubai School. What grabbed my attention?? Louise had found something that had an IMMEDIATE IMPACT on how her children behaved.
ClassDOJO is a classroom management and behaviour modification tool. In Louise's words it 'turned the class on its head'. As we talked about it, I found Class Dojo was very flexible, easily customised, positive and empowering. It's fun as well. It isn't gimmicky. It is very well thought out. ClassDOJO will run on your laptop, desktop and mobile devices - both iOS and android.
Ideally, ClassDOJO will suit teachers of FS/KG up to Year 3/Grade 2. In saying that, ClassDOJO can be easily customised and given a very different look, which would make it a lot more conducive to classes in upper Primary/Elementary School.
Right now, ClassDOJO is free. However, I am guessing that will change in time.
